As of Dec. 2024, an Anthology of technical publications spanning the half century of the MOSES agent based modeling (ABM) project of the Swedish economy are available online as a special issue of the International Journal of Microsimulation (IJM). The publications have been chosen to make a technical understanding of the MOSES model and simulation experiments possible. They can all be accessed by clicking on this link: https://microsimulation.pub/collections/17-2/volume-17-2-summer-2024
Please find a brief synopsis of the model that characterizes the properties of the MOSES model economy as it integrates at least six familiar partial economic models. In doing that the MOSES model bridges the fields of business economics, industrial economics and general economic theory.
This summary article of the IJM Anthology together with references into the Anthology should explain these properties of the empirically implemented agent-based model of the Swedish economy.
