Fredrik Sjöholm is a Professor and CEO at the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN). Since the spring of 2025, he is the Director of IFN's research program on Geoeconomics. Before joining IFN, he had academic positions at Lund University, Stockholm School of Economics, National University of Singapore, and Örebro University. He was also heading the research program “Globalization and Corporate Restructuring” at IFN between 2006 and 2011.
