The focus of this book is to illustrate successful strategies employed by Nordic firms to internationalize their capital expenditure. Some of the cases capture solutions for companies residing in highly regulated, segmented, and illiquid capital markets. Other cases illustrate solutions for companies residing in the deregulated, nearly unsegmented capital markets of today. The book is of great interest to actors on financial markets but also useful in courses on finance and industrial organisation.
For their research presented in this book, the authors have received the award for outstanding research in international financial management from the International Financial Management Association in Denmark.
