Determinants and Consequences of Green Innovation

The research project consists of two sub-studies. The first sub-study aims to investigate whether the Chernobyl disaster in 1986 contributed to an increased interest in green innovations in affected areas by examining the number of patent applications before and after the disaster. The second sub-study intends to analyze the effect of the introduction of electric scooters on the number of reported traffic accidents, focusing both on the total number of accidents and on accidents involving modes of transportation that could be considered substitutes for electric scooters.
