Papers and presentations
Those wishing to circulate papers should submit them no later than 22 July 2022. The papers will then be made available via a private link sent by e-mail to all participants. Each presentation may take 15–20 minutes, with a discussion of 10–15 minutes to follow. There will be some pre-designated discussants, but everyone will be free to comment on each paper. Please bring your presentations on a USB stick or downloadable from your cloud service.
Traveling to and from Stockholm
The main airport is Stockholm-Arlanda (ARN), to which many airlines fly, not least Scandinavian Airlines. In order to make in time for Sunday’s (optional) opening dinner at 19:00, you should probably not land at the airport later than 16:00.
The conference will end around 12:00 (noon) on Tuesday 23 August (after which there is lunch for those interested), meaning return flights should probably not depart earlier than 15:00. Nota bene! Arlanda Airport has severe problems with long queues through the security check this summer! You must be there at least three hours before your flight leaves. If you have access to fast track, do use that option. The airport warns about it here. There are no Covid-related restrictions in Sweden anymore. This also applies to entry into the country.
Transportation to Vaxholm
From Stockholm-Arlanda (ARN) you have to take a taxi to Vaxholm and the conference venue Waxholms Hotell, address Hamngatan 2, Vaxholm, phone +46 8 541 301 50. The drive takes about 45–60 minutes, and the taxi fare is about 900–1,000 SEK. You can pay with a card if you prefer. We strongly recommend you use one of the three largest companies, Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir, or Taxi 020, because of problems with rogue taxi drivers. These reliable taxi companies are located in a designated taxi lane as you exit from the terminal building. If you fly to any other airport, let us know, and we can advise you.
At the hotel
Check-in and check-out: You have access to your room from 15:00 on Sunday 21 August, and until 11:00 on the day of departure, Tuesday 23 August. You are welcome to leave your luggage in the reception if needed.
