IMCHILD: The Importance of Childhood for Individual Outcomes throughout the Life Cycle

In this project, we studied the relationship between people's upbringing relationships (family background, upbringing environment, education) and outcomes in adulthood. The researchers analyzed how children's circumstances affect educational and labor market outcomes throughout their life cycle and the impact of institutional circumstances and policies. Rather than focusing on a specific stage in adulthood, as most studies do, this project aimed to use the longevity perspective.
