Taxation and Inequality (2023)
Taxes play a central role in all modern, industrialized societies. They finance public welfare and infrastructure, and they redistribute between groups in the population. Taxes also influence how firms and individuals behave when making decisions about, for example, investments, labor supply, or educational choices.
The conference in Vaxholm, June 8–9 2023, was an international two-day meeting in a workshop format. It brought together researchers in the field with an overarching objective to present and discuss the latest research.
