In recent years, global supply chains have undergone significant transformations due to trade wars, pandemics, geopolitical tensions, and government-led industrial policy initiatives. Companies are being forced to adapt their production structures through reshoring—bringing production back home—or friendshoring—relocating suppliers to politically allied countries.
